Determine A Pick-Up Location
You can obtain your ID in one of our offices on either campus... whichever is more accessible to you! Our office located in the Technology Administration Building primarily services the Monroe Park Campus, while our office located in the VMI Building primarily services the MCV Campus.
For security reasons the VCUCard Office does not, under any circumstances, authorize VCU affiliates, contractors, faculty, retirees, staff, or students for an ID. The VCUCard Office does not accept letters, emails or phone calls as valid authorization for a VCUCard.
Please Note: VCU accountholders DO NOT need to know their VCUCard Number to obtain an eID through the eID FInder; only the V-Number and Date of Birth are needed.
The New VCUCard
The VCUCard Office released a new VCUCard to all members of the Virginia Commonwealth University community, on June 21, 2017. Students enrolled in New Student Orientation and new incoming VCU faculty or staff were the first to receive their new ID.
Implementation of the new card design was necessary in order to remain consistent with university brand standards. This VCUCard supersedes all previous versions, and serves as an official form of identification for both the Monroe Park and MCV campuses.
You can obtain a replacement VCUCard at any time from either of our offices during normal business hours. To avoid long lines throughout New Student Orientation please plan to visit our office on Monday or Wednesday morning.
There is a $10.00 fee to receive an updated VCUCard (damaged policies still apply). Please bring your current VCUCard with you to avoid paying a Lost Card fee. VCU students, faculty and staff are NOT required to purchase a new ID. The old VCUCard design is still VALID and continues to support all university related services.
